Moore To Consider - Higher Consciousness - Swirling Blob

SAY WHAAA?

If you've ever doubted your ability to contribute to this relatively huge world in this relatively even MORE huge universe, then I think you're gonna be all over this segment. The whole idea of the energy that surrounds me and you and travels between us has been a big part of my focus and my passion. Admittedly, it's an elusive topic and it hasn't always been smooth sailing. I've hit some pavement here and there. I've even preferred to wallow around down there for months and even years when the bigger picture was just too big for me to take in or make any sense of. But, after all is said and done, I've put more energy into... well... my energy than anything else. I'm hoping I can pass along any understanding I've gained about energy as more than just something to move arm muscles and leg muscles and heart muscles. It is a long forgotten source of vital information for every single one of us. Matter of fact, if you've ever watched Cesar Millan on National Geographic Channel's "The Dog Whisperer", then you're already VERY familiar with the principles I'm talking about here.

But to give an analogy to the way this information has kind of slipped through the cracks in recent times, imagine if you were given a regular old North-South-East-West compass when you were very young. You were told that you'll always find your way as long as you have this compass:

"Aw, gee, Uncle Ernie, you really means it?? I'll keep this thing real handy, Uncle Ernie! You'll see!"

And so you do. VERY handy. If you wanna play in the back yard, you use your compass to get there. If you wanna get back in the house, you keep your eyes fixed on the compass all the way inside. When the lunch bell rings at school, you use the compass to find your way to the cafeteria. Okay... time for your parents to get you a pet taranchella or something, right? I mean... what about SEEING where the back yard is with your eyes? What about REMEMBERING where the back door to your house is? What about even just SMELLING where the food's coming from at school?

Although the compass thing seems pretty stupid, most of us live our lives in modern times in a similar way and don't even know it. Similar to ignoring senses like hearing, taste, and touch, there are some not-so-obvious sources of information we as an entire species have basically forgotten how to access. Actually, we've forgotten the information is even there in the first place. And THAT is what I hope to look into throughout this segment.

FRAME OF MIND

It's no mystery why or even how the world we live in today has led us to forget a big aspect of ourselves. We're too busy. We're too occupied. We've found waaaaaaaaaay too many answers already to anything you could ever wanna know that even CONSIDERING looking for some other way of getting information seems ridiculous. And, hey, I agree wholeheartedly with that line of thinking. If everything's fine and dandy like cotton candy then why futz around with it?

The time to futz around with everything is when it becomes HARDLY fine and cotton candy is but a foggy childhood memory. It becomes time to find a new source of information when everything that used to work no longer does. When everybody's running in this direction and everything inside YOU insists you go elsewhere, THEN it's time to look a little deeper into matters.

Maybe you're no stranger to being up against the wall or even just feeling out-of-touch. Maybe you've reached out to something out there -- ANYTHING -- that's bigger, wiser, and more powerful than you. If you've come away from those experiences feeling certain you must have been only talking to the drywall, then maybe you're about to find out WHY it seemed that way.

Dr. Seuss
knew the score with

"Horten Hears A Who"

I totally relate to ol' Seuss. Half his stuff is nothing but whacked while the other half is the voice of Universal Wisdom itself. If you've never had the privilege of reading this particular story, it's not too late. You could pretend you're getting it for your little cousin or something. It's worth it, though, because this is the tale of our world today in so many ways.

In the analogy I'm using, we need to see ourselves as Horten. In order to bring Horten up to speed with TODAY'S world though, he's got an iPod in one hoof and a PSP in another with two double espressos coursing through his veins. If only he hadn't lost his BlackBerry somewhere between the movie theater and Starbucks, he'd be on top of the world... fully insulated from those pangs of deep-seated unhappiness and annoying feelings of emptiness inside.

Horten Hears an iPod

Just the fact that you're reading this web page suggests you're no stranger to feelings of emptiness or unhappiness. The good news is that directions to a much more rewarding way of life are being sent to you constantly. The tricky part is that they're about as obvious as the voices coming from Seuss's Whoville inside that dandelion up there. This may be why so many times it seems like nobody "out there" hears us or understands. The energy reaching us from not only "out there" but from everyone we come in contact with is closely related to our intuition... it's subtle. Unlike a blaring iPod or the blood-rushing explosion of e-game excitement or the non-stop distraction offered by a BlackBerry, a quiet intelligence surrounds every one of us. We've gotta take those headphones off in order to tune in to this more sophisticated device.

What's ironic is we're right in the middle of the Information Age and the very information everybody REALLY would want to know is seemingly off the radar. It doesn't have to be that way if you start making a conscious effort to hear the subtle messages coming your way. Hopefully the pages in this segment will help. By the way, there is one other thing that is very capable of drowning out this quiet energy... our unresolved anger, our bitter disappointments, and any repressed feelings reverberating under the surface. If you haven't focused on these areas yet, it is an absolutely necessary step. Take a look at this segment of the site and hopefully you'll find some ways of getting all that garbage UP and OUT so you can move on!
